Enterprise destroyed by Death Star

The starship Enterprise is destroyed by the Death Star in this bizarre but very cool collision of the Star Trek and Star Wars universes.

The Contrast New Album Recording

David Goes a Bit Mad

David Goes a Bit Mad

So I’m guessing that you think it is all a bit too quiet on thecontrast.net. The band has been locked away somewhere in Leeds working hard on their follow-up album to “Underground Ghosts”. It seems things are going well.

Recording has been completed on The Contrast’s sixth studio album. A total of 15 songs have emerged, it is not yet known if all of these will make the final cut. I would say that they are going to have a hard time picking and choosing from this bunch. Now the work commences with picking a running order and designing art and so on. No release date is set yet but I will keep you posted and pass that on as soon as we know.

While they were in the studio the band took some photos of their experience. From these you can gain an insight into the really hard slog that is involved in making a new album. See the picture in this post for an example. These are posted in the Photo Gallery on this site.

Don’t Photograph the Over-Sixties

Sometimes the law, while well meaning, can seem a little overpowering. There is a bill being discussed in Massachusetts that would make it illegal to photograph people over 60 or people with disabilities. So this could mean that what people do in the privacy of their own home could get them in a lot of trouble. I can see where this is coming from but sure common sense should be enough rather than a law.

I can’t see this getting favourable publicity.

If Mass. HB 1668 is passed, a person violating the new provisions of the law would receive a mandatory minimum sentence of at least ten years in prison or a fine of at least $10,000. This would include spouses photographing one another with “lascivious intent.”

via Massachusetts Bill Would Rule People Over 60 and Some People with Disabilities Incapable of Consenting to Erotic Photography – Disaboom.
