Fan Papers | The Cult
A long time ago in a galaxy far far far away (in the constellation of Brighton) there lived a young-ish buck with an unhealthy obsession for drinking and the film Fight Club. As part of his university coursework this fellow decided to apply one of his obsessions to the work of some Austrian neurologist and pass it off as a philosophy essay.
No one seemed to notice that it wasn’t that good so he submitted it to the fan site of Chuck Palahniuk (the author of the book that the film was based on). Apparently they also didn’t twig that it wasn’t a work of genius and put it up on their website. There it stands until this very day where it was discovered when I was checking out whether bing.com was any good or not. I’m not sure I like Bing.com but I like the fact that an essay that I wrote 7 years ago is still online.
A link to the website is below.

Colin zombie movie
Someone with the same name as me has made a cool looking zombie flick on the cheap. When I say “on the cheap” I mean for less than I have in my wallet right now. I’ve no idea how he managed it but I’d really like to see it.
Apparently it made quite a splash at Cannes, whatever that means.

Tron Legacy: The Hunt for Flynn’s Arcade
The craziness that is Comic Con continues. This description of a scavenger hunt to find Kevin Flynn’s video arcade is mad. It amazes me at the lengths that people will go to to advertise a film.
Comic-Con: Tron Legacy Viral – The Hunt for Flynn’s Arcade | /Film.
And then if you look at the trailer it is likely that you will be amazed too, HD quality versions are available on the official Tron Legacy (man this film has had so many names) site.

New TARDIS Prop
The excitement begins to bubble over. Not only is there a new production team, a new Doctor and a new companion there is also a new TARDIS prop. The question now is whether we can lend any credence to the rumours that the interior is also getting a makeover. I suspect that it will based on this. Moffat clearly wants to put his own stamp on things.
Although his way of making his mark is to take things closer to the original source material. The eagle-eyed among you will have noticed that the new TARDIS prop looks very similar to the way it did back in 1963, complete with white windows and St. John’s Ambulance sticker on the right hand door.

“Change, my dear and it seems not a moment too soon!”
In the past, many new incoming producers have always wished to stamp their mark on the programme by various means.
I think the new Police Box exterior is fantastic and hope the rumours about the interior being redesigned are true. We certainly need to see more rooms.
It gives the merchandise makers the opportunity to sell us more TARDIS toys and models.
I wonder if they’ll redesign the DOCTOR WHO logo too? This one’s also been in place since 2005 when the programme returned to our screens.
Over to you, Steven Moffat and your production team!
