Check out BIRP! BIRP is Blalock’s Indie/Rock Playlist. I can’t vouch for the legality of the torrent but it does contain quite a lot of cool tunes and introduces me to bands that I either go to see if get a chance or buy from iTunes.

Each mixtape comes with a lovingly created cover image. This one makes my eyes hurt a bit though.

The other thing that worries me a bit is the last time I went to their website there was a massive Scientology ad at the top of the page. I’m guessing that ad was just placed by Google, God bless Google.

Blalock’s Indie/Rock Playlist is a monthly compilation of new music & usually contains 100-120 Mp3′s which you can download from either Torrent or Megaupload (Playlists Section on top).  It’s a great way for people to discover new music/bands and for independent bands to be promoted.
