Changes 2

I’ve been pondering for quite a while now what to do with my blog. For more that too long it has been a repository for all of the junk and nonsense that I leave lying around on the Interweb. So I too the plunge and decided that I would use the side for my photos. I have moved all of the more useless stuff to a sectioned off blog area and now the main page will be only my photography.

And I dropped the Bigger on the Inside handle… sort of, of course it is still there in Latin (pretentious much?).

Racially profiled and cuffed in Detroit

Ironically today was a day when I woke up thinking that it would be really cool to live in America again. I was browsing through my news feeds and I discover in fact that no it would not be at all cool because the country has gone completely nuts. Everyone who has ever made an assumption about someone because of the way they look should read this and have a good hard think about consequences.

Silly me. I thought flying on 9/11 would be easy. I figured most people would choose not to fly that day so lines would be short, planes would be lightly filled and though security might be ratcheted up, we’d all feel safer knowing we had come a long way since that dreadful Tuesday morning 10 years ago.

But then armed officers stormed my plane, threw me in handcuffs and locked me up.

I’m really mad about the fact that Professor Internet is a cat. It is both wrong, dumb and super-wrong.

Doctor Who Online – Why Eccleston REALLY Quit Doctor Who

Dear Chris,

I was going to write a bunch of stuff about the rest of us eating shit to get by on a daily basis and that you are in such a privileged position but…
oh never mind…
you disappoint me…

“I thought to remain, which would have made me a lot of money and given me huge visibility, the price I would have had to pay was to eat a lot of shit. I’m not being funny about that. I didn’t want to do that and it comes to the art of it, in a way. I feel that if you run your career and– we are vulnerable as actors and we are constantly humiliating ourselves auditioning. But if you allow that to go on, on a grand scale you will lose whatever it is about you and it will be present in your work.

Of all the stupid, irresponsible, messed up ideas for a reality show… I hope the makers are really proud.
