0I stumbled upon this pretty song and a fab video reenacting events from the original Star Wars trilogy using the medium of paper. Yep, you will be able to see a fully animated paper light sabre battle. Who needs this CGI bullshit. Are you listening George Lucas? This thing made out of paper has more charm than The Phantom Menace!
Anyway the musician can be found here http://jeremymessersmith.com/
The creator of the video is this guy http://www.ericpowerup.net/
and the video is embedded below

0It was really difficult not to post this image. It is a lazy article (both on here and the guardian) but still pretty funny.
I always imagined Iran to be kind of sandy, so big men covered in grass with guns should stand out like a Wookiee.
Does this also mean that some of those Australian Jedi that I’ve been hearing so much about are available as back up?
Or perhaps Tim needs to get this book:
Tim Dowling on how to tell an Iranian sniper from Wookiee? | World news | The Guardian.
1OK it is very likely that this video will get killed by the Lucas Corporation some time soon but while it lasts it is pretty funny. This YouTube user has gone out of their way to translate that lovable little droid from Star Wars. My particular favorite is the way that R2-D2 treats Jar Jar Binks. That flopsy eared muppet get short shrift from the little fella.
Anyway enjoy it while you can.
